vespa dreams
Scooters Scooters store is located in Fortitude Valley. But if you’re like us and can only dream of Vespa-ing, we recommend taking to the hills of Paddington and Red Hill by foot and seeing how many Ginas you can count. Head up Enoggera Terrace and look out for the top of Otis Lane and then walk down the lane to the next intersection. This is an ideal spot to watch the city turn into night. We have an inkling that there are steps or rocks that are more than suitable for sitting on.

inside the gallery
The Gallery of Modern Art, located at South Bank’s Cultural Centre, is, well, awesome. Also, it’s usually free. The artwork referred to in our post belongs to Kyungah Ham and was part of the 6th Annual Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. This exhibition has unfortunately finished now, but the gallery’s white walls will now be offering something new and wonderful to jump into.

racecourse rd
This is just one of those lovely strips of cafes and bakeries and boutique stores that you find in some suburbs in Brisbane. This one in particular is in riverside Hamilton, immediately accessible from Kingsford Smith Drive, and features an impressive grand church (as pictured). If you want to see some fancy houses take a wander through the nearby streets… and wish, wish a little.

in the west end
It’s a big place, West End. Well, at the very least, there’s a lot in it and more than we could possibly begin to describe. In our post we made reference to Chai tea served in a silly-sized bowl at the Three Monkeys Coffee and Tea House, Avid Reader, the Indian Kitchen, and Lock n Load. But while each of these places is obviously great, why not just set your wings down in Boundary Street and see where your overexcited feet take you.
